Tissue regeneration relies on genetic and biochemical clues at the cellular and systemic level. In this context, Cnidarians like Hydra vulgaris are used as model organisms, and frontier research sees gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) potentially enhancing their regeneration. The study will investigate the ability of treated polyps to regenerate under photostimulation in combination with AuNPs through innovative functional imaging methods.
