Datathon on September 12th, 2024

Publishing your research data in open access promotes the transparency of scientific knowledge and amplifies the visibility and impact of your findings, allowing scholars around the world to freely access and reuse them. To foster the culture of open access at Politecnico di Milano, the Open Data group (RL1: Giuseppe Maria PaternĂ², RL2: Dario Giannotti, RL3: Paolo Pozzi; RL4: Daniel Chrastina; RL5: Attilio Zilli) is organizing a free DATATHON on September 12th, 2024 aimed at the researchers of the Physics department, in particular to Ph.D. students and post-docs. Participants will bring their own laptop and research data to be uploaded, which can be related to any scientific article published with PoliMi affiliation since 2020 or to be published soon. They will be instructed and assisted in collating and uploading their data sets to ZENODO, the main open-access repository for European researchers.
